December 26th - `Uncle Jo Show '

with Dr. Agranovsky (vocal, guitar), Yuriy Kaverkin (acoustic guitar, vocal), Valeriy Gelyuta (vocal, guitar) and `Choyrniy Khleb`

`CHYORNYI KHLEB` (`The Black Bread`), launched by Dr. Agranovsky in 1998, is a veteran’s band (yet handsome looking...) The repertoire includes the blues and spirituals in the original language, as well as own numbers in Russian and English. Some gospel numbers are polyphonic - arranged for the four men's voices - which make the band unique on the local blues scene.

`The Black Bread` music comes from the roots. In nearly chamber style, they drive in their point without electric aggressiveness. he sound and the stage image of the band tend to the air of the old-time juke joints... or the Methodist gatherings. They play in clubs of Moscow, St Petersburg, Ryazan', Vladimir, Ulianovsk, Surgut and other Russian cities.

`The Black Bread's` opened the shows for Primer, Wheeler, Bell, Stroger, Campbell, Guy, Dragger, and backed the gigs of Keith Dunn.
Personally for Doctor it was a great honor and pleasure to jam with another Chicago bluesman, Mud Morganfield, the eldest son of great Muddy Waters (October 2009).

JANUARY 1st - 'Swing, Swing, Swing ... ` with `26 Gertz `(26 Hertz) group

It is known that diesel engine clearance and purring cat produce the same frequency of 26 Hertz.
`26 HERTZ`  play elegant-rackety light jazz – it is something between a tractor and a cat ...

The group plays hot swing music that can make dance any skeptic. The repertoire of the collective is mostly jazz standards, however, an unusual approach to the arrangements, and all-conquering love of life and very unusual instrumental composition and, accordingly, the band's sound make these standards not so standard ones as you might think.
The group firmly stepped into the hearts of the Moscow Music Lovers.
The Group membership: Nikolay Dobkin (fagotto), Sergei Shitov (clarinet), Alexey Karpov (guitar), Alexander Baidakov (double-bass), Andrey Pristavka (drums), Olga Oleynikova (vocal), Petr Kondrashin (violoncello).
